Building with less
Minimal design works when structure carries the weight instead of decoration.
Minimal design is not the same thing as empty design.
The useful version of minimalism removes anything that competes with reading, scanning, or navigation. What stays behind should still feel intentional:
- one strong hierarchy
- one accent color
- consistent spacing
- typography that carries the tone
That is usually enough.
When the structure is doing the work, you do not need cards, shadows, gradients, or oversized interface tricks to make the page feel finished.
